The emission plots are derived from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service - CAMS, Global Fire Assimilation System - GFAS, operated by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast (ECMWF).
It produces daily estimates of wildfire and biomass burning emissions by assimilating Fire Radiative Power (FRP) observations from the MODIS instruments onboard the Terra and Aqua satellites (https://atmosphere.copernicus.eu/global-fire-emissions).
